Experience a Private Owl Encounter at the Zoo of the Pyrenees

The Owls Experience is an amazing experience which will improve teamwork and trust among the people who participate.

The Owl Experience is a private activity in which you will discover what happens when you slow down, truly live in the present moment and learn to relate to a wild animal from calm and emotional connection.

You don’t come here to look. You come to be, to feel and see how an owl responds to you.

For some, this experience is fulfilling a dream they’ve imagined for years. For many others, it’s the moment they understand why owls evoke such a special feeling.

How the Experience Begins

You’ll learn how to move around you and what attitude an owl needs to feel comfortable around you. Owls don’t respond to commands or being rushed. They respond to your calmness, your presence, and how you are when you’re in front of them.

When Contact Happens

Each person in the group has their moment. First individually. Then, by sharing the experience with others. The owls begin to fly from hand to hand, not because they are forced, but because they trust.

The Closing of the Experience

The finale comes with the encounter with the Eurasian eagle-owl, the largest nocturnal bird of prey in the world. An intense and silent moment. One of those moments that defies easy description and is remembered for a long time.

Why This Experience is Different

  • Owls don’t lie.
  • If something doesn’t fit, they walk away.
  • If you are present, they approach.

That’s why this experience isn’t just about animals. It’s about trust and sharing something authentic with the people around you.

Who is With You?

Throughout the experience you will be accompanied by Stania, founder of the Pyrenees Zoo, who will be by your side every step of the way, guiding you and taking care of the well-being of the animals and people.

Animals Participating in the Owls Experience

The birds you work with are animals that, due to altered behavior or a chronic illness (such as osteoarthritis), are unable to return to nature. Elder animals also take part. These specimens would have no chance of surviving in the wildlife.

Daily training and contact with people is a beneficial condition for their physical and mental health. You will help keep their life in captivity entertained and rich.
